Holiday Rush

{BIG SIGH HERE}

I don't know about you, but I have been rushing to finish a  number of projects in time for Christmas (as some of you may have seen on Instagram). I have also had to concede to Time and give up a couple of projects that I know I just cannot finish before Christmas... 

That said, on Tuesday I put three packages with hand-made items in the mail, and I just got back from Post Office where I sent off ten Christmas gifts, half of which where made by me (the other half were purchased from The Grey Tabby on Etsy).

I still have a few more to go - two of which are for my husband - but they don't need to be mailed, so I have some time to finish them. But come 2013, I think I will start my handmade gifts over the summer.

But right now I just want to take a moment to breath and relax, and you might need to too... Things can get crazy in preparation for the holidays, but don't forget what the holidays are all about in the rush to make everything picture-perfect. Take a moment to reflect on those that you love, and enjoy the time that you have.
