Formerly The Made with Love Project, Working Yarns is all about building community and skills.
Why Knitting and Crochet?
Knitting and crochet are great ways of working out our brains, and our stress, as well as being fun and productive outlets for creativity! My hope is to cultivate a community of knitters and crocheters.
What I'm about
With community in mind, I share free patterns and tutorials, some of which are my own. I try to share at least one pattern a month, but will hopefully be posting on a weekly basis really soon.
About my knit and crochet journey
Though I learned to knit back in 2004, I didn't really get serious about knitting until recently. I was inspired to revisit knitting after teaching myself to crochet in the summer of 2012. I enjoy both immensely, and am having a great time building my skills and knowledge. So, technically I'm a beginner, but my hope is that my many blunders will help other beginners, too.
Get Social
I am on various forms of social media - you can find me on Instagram, Twitter, and Periscope, as @ WorkingYarns. If you work up one of my patterns, I would love for you to use the hashtag, #WorkingYarns so that I can see what you've done!
Feel free to shoot me an email with any questions, or just to say "hi":
